CHOICES
Every moment one is presented with choices. When you look at the grand design of all from a spiritual perspective, there is no problem. We are spirit beings having a human experience. In the Big Picture, God is in charge and all is well.
However, as long as you are in the physical realm, you are impacted by the choices of others on a personal, family, community and global level.
How do you want the world to operate? Choosing to vote for representatives who are aligned with your values is one way to make your voice heard.
Whenever one complains, yet offers no possible solutions, then one becomes part of the problem. Make choices that offer solutions.
When one spouts negativity about a situation, without researching the facts. One becomes part of the problem. Ignorance is bliss does not apply in this situation.
Are there things in your community that do not sit well with you? Offer your voice as an activist or assistance to those who have the power, drive and voice to take action.
Are there friends or family members that make your head ache? Choose your parameters when it comes to the amount of time you spend with them. Look for commonalities rather than battling over differences of opinion. Silence is golden may apply here.
You cannot make anyone else happy. No one can make you happy. Thus, happiness is a personal choice. Granted, it’s hard to be happy when the basic needs of life are barely met. Yet, there are many happy homeless and penniless people across the globe.
Create a strong relationship with the Creator who made you. As you learn to commune on a deep level and let go of the concerns of the past and worries of the future, you will receive guidance, develop more inner peace and clarity of thought.
Pay attention to the choices you are about to make. Break free from the patterns that have held you bondage. Allow yourself to think out of the box, without over-stressing about what others may think. Who knows, you could become a role model to others who are struggling with breaking free. What will you choose in this moment?
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
