Celestial Gathering Message
Full Moon
July 21, 2024
Greetings Dear Ones,
We are happy to be in communion with you, once again. As this week begins, consider what you would like to experience that opens more joy onto you. Times are difficult, but maintaining joy is one measure to help you to press through to the next activity. This week, make notes to yourself to find joy in all things. As you focus upon noticing those moments of joy, you will bring more joy to yourself.
This can be as simple as petting your beloved furry one. As you feel their unconditional love for you, let your heart fill with joy. Pay attention to the clouds, the songs of the birds, the way the leaves rustle in the trees. Express joy to the Creator of all the natural beauty that surrounds you.
As you prepare your food, as you eat your food, as you clean up the kitchen, find the joy all around you. There are many who do not have the luxuries that you have. With each convenience item and each morsel of food, express gratitude and well up joy for the blessings that you do have.
When you feel that you have lack in some area, send prayers to your Creator, asking for guidance and what is best for you to do in order to bring your basic needs to you. During those prayers, express gratitude for the Divine Love being poured down on you. Also, express gratitude for what you do have.
One tends to take many things for granted when going about daily routines. Yet, when one lacks gratitude, they rob themselves of joy. This is an age of convenience and the smallest things cause frustration due to expectations. Consider the times you have gone through the drive-through at a “fast food” restaurant and were impatient because it took five minutes. Or perhaps because there were five cars ahead of you, it was too long of a wait, so you kept on going. How do you react when waiting at the grocers or other places when there are long lines?
This impatience is conditioned; it has become the norm for most. Many of you reading this have no recollection of life before the invention of drive through restaurants. Before those days, people only dreamed of having a place to go where someone else did all the cooking. For many, if they didn’t grow their own food, they would endure growling stomachs all night. Sadly, this is still true.
We encourage you to use time wisely when you are in those “waiting” situations. While you are in line, send love to those around you. As you notice the people around you, perhaps you will see a need and a way to be of service to someone. Be in joy for the blessings, the convenience of electricity, transportation and all of the other ways your life has been blessed.
Start and begin each day in prayer, including gratitude for the people, the animals and the conveniences in your life. As this becomes your “first nature,” the lesser things will fall into place. Don’t lose heart. Keep moving forward. Be the person that others want to employ. Be the friend that others can count on, even if others have let you down in the past. Be the role model for those around you by speaking only good about others. Build trust by being trustworthy. As you think of others who let you down, instead of keeping the focus on the hurt, use that pain to change your own behaviors. Then the undesirable experience has more value.
Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
~ John 16:24
Be blessed this day and beyond,
