Many times, prayers go unanswered, or so it seems. There is a purpose for everything that occurs. How many times has something happened that was not in your plans, yet later, you found out that it was a blessing? Start and end each day with gratitude!  

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. ~ James 4:8  

God reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. ~ Daniel 2:22 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7  

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. ~ Proverbs 16:24 How can you sweeten someone's soul this week?

We talk about having unconditional love for people. That can be hard, especially with those who have harmed us. I resonated with the statement "Love is looking for the good in people." Looking at unconditional love through this lens, makes it attainable for me. What are your thoughts on this? How do you express unconditional love? Do you have a hard time unconditionally loving others?  

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. ~ Philippians 2:3

Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ~ Mark 11:24  

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!  Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ~ Hebrews 10:35-36
