The psalms are full of so much beauty, wisdom and promise. The following is a reminder of how your Creator waits for you to call on Him, to build a relationship with Him. I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;     he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me,     I will call on him as long as I live. Psalm 116:1-2  

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. ~ Hebrews 13:1-2  

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;     he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted     and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles,     but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones,     not one of them will be broken. Psalm 34:17-20    

King Solomon, a great seeker of knowledge and experience, sums up the wisdom he has obtained. "Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Revere God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." ~ Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

This is my prayer for you! May the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another. 1 Thessalonians 3:12  

May you be filled with joy! Praise be to the Lord,     for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield;     my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy,     and with my song I praise him. ~ Psalm 28:6-7  

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” ~ Matthew 4:1-4  

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. ~ Matthew 7:15  

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16
