I've really been enjoying reading through the book of Proverbs in the Bible. So many great zingers! Here's another gem to get me back on track as I fume over my response to an annoying person. The advice is better than duct tape! Hope it helps you, too! A gentle answer turns away wrath,     but a harsh word stirs up anger. ~ Proverbs 15:1

From the pen of a wise sage 3,000 years ago. Yet, the words of Solomon are just as relevant today. "Walk with the wise and become wise,     for a companion of fools suffers harm." Who do you walk with? Who is your news source? Question the words of others before you adopt their beliefs. Before sharing the words of others, test them first for truth and validity. Consider the proverb "Silence is Silver, Silence is Golden."

We often want and expect our prayers to be answered immediately. However, answering prayers is complex. You may or may not receive your request, for a number of reasons.
