This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24  

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and wealth." ~ Matthew 6:24 This does not mean that being wealthy is bad. It's all about where does one place their thoughts, words and actions. Where do place your priority in each moment?

“Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events. He removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.” ~Daniel 2:20-21  

Sensible people control their temper;     they earn respect by overlooking wrongs. Proverbs 19:11

Humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up. ~ James 4:10  

Take time to go within and find the "dark shadows" and fears that keep you from feeling joyful.

Many times, prayers go unanswered, or so it seems. There is a purpose for everything that occurs. How many times has something happened that was not in your plans, yet later, you found out that it was a blessing? Start and end each day with gratitude!
