To move beyond separation, allow others to freely be who they choose to be. Look beyond skin color, clothing, behavior and preferences and know we all come from the same Source. Until we do, there will be acts of war, hierarchies and increased separation. It is your choice individually and collectively.
No person can remain totally under the influence of another unless he chooses to do so. It takes courage and fortitude to change a society. It takes honesty and integrity to change one’s self. Look around and pay close attention to what gives you pleasure and what holds you hostage. Begin to focus on ways to create the life of your dreams. It will not always be easy, but taking the easier path is what has led us to the sad state of affairs on earth.
How can you empower yourself? Create the reality that serves your needs and does not intentionally harm others. Learning to be selfish is the first step. You have been trained to take care of others’ needs above your own. Yet to live a balanced life, you must take care of your own needs first. You have to be careful not to deplete your time and energy so that you have enough to assist others. How can you love others until you love yourself? How can you love yourself when you don’t even know who you are?
Re-discover yourself; remember the spiritual roots of who you truly are. Is there a place you dream of living that ignites your soul? Are you using and honing your talents? Are you choosing friends and experiences that vitalize your life?
Move beyond separation and take charge of your life.
It may seem overwhelming at first. Look at the things that are not working in your life and begin taking the steps to replace them with the desires of your heart.
