It is so easy to get caught up in the material world.
Romance, money, material objects can easily overtake one’s thoughts and behaviors.
Yet, we are promised a better future on the “Other Side.”
Even if one does not believe these things, putting the Creator,
instead of the created first, does make sense.
Putting the created first is an act of idolatry.
It is similar to giving praise and honor to a piece of artwork,
rather than the potter who created it.
