SYNCHRONICITIES
Pay attention to synchronicities, which are meaningful coincidences. Count them as blessings as you walk along your life path. Have the courage to follow through with ideas that feel inspiring, for they likely are guideposts for you. There are times when you will falter, yet setbacks can also be a blessing that leads one to something better.
When you have a decision to make or a problem to tackle, take time to clear your mind. Get into a relaxed, prayerful state and call upon the Creator for guidance. Often the responses are subtle: a fleeting thought, an intuition, a gut reaction or a “knowingness.”
Pay attention to your feelings when you make choices. Although it is good to trust your instincts… fears and false beliefs can affect accuracy. This is why facing fears and healing unresolved trauma is important. Educate yourself regarding the problem at hand, ask to find the truth of the matter. Allow yourself to think outside of the box for solutions. Reach out for help, as needed.
You will find guideposts from the Creator in many ways. Perhaps you will overhear a part of someone else’s conversation that relates to your situation. Books may fall at your feet. Objects may appear to almost glow or “call” to you. Song lyrics repeating in your mind, may be a clue. A website may pop up unexpectedly on your computer. You may feel a strong urge to go somewhere or turn on the television or radio to a specific channel. When you are actively seeking, you will notice their clues.
However, there are two words of caution. Avoid over-thinking a matter and “spiritualizing” every incident. For example, I was driving my classic Mustang one day. The speedometer was going crazy. I was rattling off all the possible reasons that were going through my head to my boyfriend. “Maybe this is a sign to slow down, maybe I am being told to go faster, maybe I’m being warned there is an accident ahead.” Some of the items were rather silly. He listened to my ramble, then quietly said, “Maybe it’s because the speedometer is 37 years old.” At that moment, the speedometer went back to its rightful position. And I felt a little silly for allowing my mind to race to the absurd.
Another precaution to be aware of is that Satan and his fallen angels use all the same tactics to deceive. Thus, discernment and common sense are also necessary ingredients. If you are in a situation that keeps you off balance, that is a call to take action. First, look within to find your weaknesses. Then ask for courage and wisdom to make choices to align your will with that of the Creator. Then you will find clarity and inner peace which will help you to more accurately discern which synchronicities to pay attention to.
“The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. Neither is the bread to the wise, nor wealth to the intelligent, nor favor to the skillful, rather, time and chance happen to all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
